Do you do small moves as well as big houses?
Yes — a studio or one-bed is just as welcome as a six-bed farmhouse. We size the crew and van to the job, so a small move doesn’t pay for a big one, and a big house has enough hands to finish in good order.
Will you take furniture apart and rebuild it?
We dismantle what needs it — beds, wardrobes, flat-pack that won’t take the stairs — and put it back together where it’s going. Somerset’s period homes and low-beamed cottages throw up plenty of pieces that won’t turn a tight landing, and we plan those at the survey.
Can you reach a farmhouse down a narrow lane?
Yes — it’s routine here. If a full lorry can’t make the lane or the drive, we plan a smaller shuttle vehicle for the last stretch. We check the access at the survey so there are no surprises on the day.
What if my new place isn’t ready the same day?
It happens all the time in a chain. We can hold your things in secure storage and deliver when the keys come through, so you’re not forced into a same-day move that doesn’t suit you.
